Title Signature Instructions

How to properly sign the Ohio title
 
The registered owner of the vehicle must follow these steps:

 

1. Sign the title in front of a Notary.

 

2. Sign on the back of the title where it reads "Transferor's/Seller's Signature".

*The buyer's name and address must be entered on the title.

*If there are two owners on the title, both must sign. s name and address must be entered on the title.

*If there are two owners on the title, both must sign.

 

3. Print on the back of the title where it reads "Transferor's/Seller's Printed Name".
